NTPC recruitment through GATE 2018: How to apply?
Eligible candidates may apply through ntpccareers.net website. Candidates must have appeared for GATE 2018.
The link for registration on NTPC careers website will be made active on 10th January, 2018. The last date to submit the application form online is – 31st January, 2018.
An application fees has to be paid, while submitting the registration form online. The application fees is 150 INR for General (UR) candidates. Application fees has been waived off in cases of OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates.

NTPC GATE 2018 recruitment: Selection process
Eligible candidates, who have registered for NTPC recruitment will be shortlisted on the basis of category-wise GATE 2018 marks. Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to undergo an online aptitude test.
The online entrance examination is a qualifying test. Candidates who pass the qualifying test are then asked to appear for GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview).
Final score is used to determine the empanelment status of a candidate. Final score is derived after combining GATE score (85% weightage), GD score (5% weightage) and PI (10% weightage) score.
Final appointment will be issued to deserving candidates on the basis of final merit score, medical examination result and vacancy.
